Overview
Mi Nang Ngo is a Vietnamese noodle brand made from locally grown yellow corn, offering a natural alternative to traditional wheat-based noodles.
The name “Nàng Ngô” embodies the image of a simple, pure Vietnamese woman – a symbol of natural ingredients and locally made products.
The brand is designed for those who seek a healthy lifestyle: people on diets, individuals with diabetes, or fitness enthusiasts who want to reduce fast-absorbing carbohydrates.
Ingredients & Production Process
Main Ingredient: Locally grown Vietnamese yellow corn, typically cultivated in the Northwest or Central regions of Vietnam.
Production Technology:
Uses a dry-shelling method to separate the husk and germ of the corn while removing excess fat from the germ.
The corn kernels are finely milled into powder, then pressed through low-heat molds to form noodles – preserving the corn’s natural golden color.
No artificial coloring or synthetic preservatives are used.
Additional Ingredients: Water, light mineral salt, and sometimes a small amount of potato or rice starch for elasticity (depending on the product line).
Naturally gluten-free – made entirely from corn instead of wheat – making it suitable for people with gluten intolerance or difficulty digesting wheat flour.
